Tailored Solutions For All Your Staging Needs

Mainstage provides clients with 3D drawings as part of their pre-installation service so customers can see exactly what they are getting. Pictured is the sketch of the seating solution for Chesham Preparatory School.

Two UK prep schools needed different solutions to help improve their presentation of The Arts.

Both school head teachers were keen not to be shoehorned into a solution and wanted choice and a more bespoke approach.

Headteacher at Bury Catholic Preparatory School Mrs Anne Dean needed a flexible solution to replace the school’s existing heavy, bulky stage which required a large team of people to build.

“We wanted something lightweight that allows all our teaching staff to set it up for their individual needs simply and quickly,” said Mrs Dean. “We are a Gold Artsmark School and The Arts is a big part of school life.

“Mainstage listened to what we wanted and, after looking at their family of products, we selected the light-weight Debut staging solution. It fits the bill perfectly.”

Headmaster at Chesham Preparatory School, Buckinghamshire, Mr Mike Davies wanted to improve the sight lines to the low-level stage in the multi-purpose school hall.

Mainstage came up with a robust four-tier seating solution, accommodating 80 people, set on a medium-duty Cameo deck.

“It’s very easy for our caretakers to erect, dismantle and store,” explained Mr Davies. “It’s very strong but it’s also very versatile. We don’t have to have it all in one bank, we can turn it around, reverse it, put it on the stage and use it outside.”

Mainstage MD Mike Sweetland said: “Because we produce a family of staging and seating products, manufactured and designed here in the UK, we are expert at matching our customer’s needs to the most suitable solution for them.”
