Here at Mainstage we receive enquiries about our products from community halls, church halls, and the like up and down the country on a regular basis. Generally speaking, we’re contacted when the old stage has deteriorated to a point where it’s no longer deemed safe – but by the time a stage is visibly unsafe, usually it’s actually been a risk for some time.
(We were recently contacted by a church where the previous staging had given way while the vicar was on-stage. Obviously, this wasn’t staging that anyone thought was dangerous – in fact, the church has recently had its safety certification reaffirmed.)
Taking Steps for Safety
Mainstage has always been dedicated to building robust, hardwearing stages with the longest life expectancies we can possibly provide them.
It’s not our place to make estimates about how long stages made by other manufacturers will last – what we do recommend, however, is that if you’re reading this and thinking to yourself that it’s been a long time since your stage was installed or that you wondered if it wobbled a little the last time you stepped on or off, give some thought to a more stable, reliable solution.
Please contact us if you would like us to perform a free demo Visit. It makes it easy for you to see the difference between your existing setup and what you could have, and it give you a chance to have some stage experts cast an eye over your current installation and point out early signs of wear before they cause you trouble.
Of course, there’s no need to stop there. All Mainstage staging systems can be supplied with a wide range of accessories for a variety of purposes, and these include guardrails and other offerings to keep everyone safe and secure.
If you’re at all worried, you only have to ask for details; we’ll be happy to help.
If you have any other concerns, you can always contact us directly and we’ll be happy to lend an ear. We love matching people to the solution they should have, and we’ll help get you into perfect shape for the future.
